Other manufacturers offer sheets up to 102 inches long, for twin XL sizes. Twin blankets are on average 90 inches long by 66 inches wide. The same size is used for twin XL mattresses, so both sizes are the same. Twin Comforters are typically 88 inches long by 68 inches wide. Twin XL Comforts are 90 inches long by 68 inches wide, or they can be longer.
 

Can you fit a XL on a twin frame?

 
A twin XL mattress would be too long for a standard twin frame. While the difference in length is only around 5 inches, it is known that this twin xl frame mattress may not fit, such as bunk beds, or loft beds. A twin boxed can hold a twin XL, but the extra 5 inches will hang on the edge, interfering with support. This can also put pressure on the mattress over time.
